We have missed so much during this period but mostly we have missed having you, our amazing guests, to share in the Finn Lough experience. We are so excited to welcome you back to nature and are doing lots of things big and small to make sure you can visit with peace of mind.
We have all had to adapt to the changing landscape we now face, we kindly ask that you are patient with us during this period of adjustment. Many things have changed but we are still committed to delivering an unforgettable experience so you can retreat into nature and recharge.
We are ready for your arrival!
All our properties have been deep cleaned and sanitised with hospital grade disinfectant. Housekeeping will be updating their practises to ensure deep disinfection of all surfaces and touchpoints, the team will be wearing PPE at all times. The removal of any unnecessary items from accommodation will help to minimise contact points.
Your Experience
We have always been committed to providing personal service and that won’t change but this will look slightly different going forward. Check in and checks out will be processed remotely to avoid the use of communal areas and touch points at reception. Room and spa orientations will be carried out in open air with 2 meter social distancing in place.
Your Nourishment
We ask you are patient with us as we adapt to this new landscape, our kitchen team is smaller so things will run a little more slowly. Our food offering will still bring you fresh and seasonal fare but with a slight change of format. We ask that you pre-book your breakfast slot, to ensure there is no overcrowding during the morning rush. We have dining options for sit down dining or takeaway available (until 6pm) for collection. Our restaurant seating will offer a minimum of 2 meter socially distanced table settings. Takeaways will be served in single-use compostable containers. You can enjoy this wherever you wish; be that al fresco picnic at our lakeside deck, in our waterside bubble or tucked away in your room. Our service team members will wear facial coverings at all times and our kitchen staff will practice rigorous cleaning processes.
Communal Spaces
We are fortunate enough to occupy a vast lakeside peninsula offering fresh air and wide open spaces for all our guests to enjoy. We have updated the layouts of our open air lakeside bar, forest barn and waterside bubble to ensure social distancing measures are in place. All seating is distanced at a minimum of 2 meters apart, there will be an ‘open door’ policy and hand sanitiser will be available at entrance and exit points for guests. Rigorous cleaning and disinfection will take place across all communal areas and touch points.
Our people
Our team members will be completing a return to work orientation with health and safety training provided for our new processes and handling of guest materials. All staff will have their temperatures checked upon arrival to work, staff members will carry personal hand sanitiser at all times and will be wearing masks when in public areas.
We look forward to welcoming our amazing guests back to nature for a secluded retreat. We are all in this together and we look forward to navigating this new landscape, being ever mindful of our impact on the environment and the invaluable time we spend with loved ones.
